Terms and Conditions


1. Introduction

Welcome to IMaan Papers (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our printing, paper supply, and publishing services.
By placing an order, requesting a quotation, or receiving any service from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. Scope of Services

We operate as a paper company and a full‑service print & publishing house, offering:
– Paper trading and bulk supply
– Commercial printing (business cards, flyers, posters, packaging, labels)
– Book and magazine printing & binding
– Layout, typesetting, proofreading, and editorial support
– ISBN facilitation and print‑run management (subject to applicable permissions)


3. Quotations, Orders & Approvals

3.1 Quotations are based on current paper prices, ink consumption, finishing processes, and run size; they are valid for 7–15 days unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Orders are accepted only after written confirmation and (where applicable) advance payment.
3.3 Client must provide final artwork or approve proofs (soft or hard proof). Once approved, production will proceed; post‑approval changes may incur additional costs and timelines.


4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 Ensure that submitted files are print‑ready (CMYK, embedded fonts, bleed and margins).
4.2 Obtain all necessary permissions/licenses for copyrighted content. You confirm you have the right to print and publish the materials supplied.
4.3 Provide accurate print specifications (size, paper GSM, colors, finishing, quantity) and timely feedback during proofing.


5. Production, Delivery & Risk

5.1 Production timelines depend on paper availability, print complexity, and finishing; estimated dates are shared in the job sheet.
5.2 Up to ±3% variation in color or quantity may occur due to press tolerances; such variation is standard in commercial printing.
5.3 Title and risk in goods pass to the client upon delivery or collection. For shipped goods, transit risk lies with the courier/transport company.


6. Pricing, Payments & Taxes

6.1 Prices may change due to fluctuations in paper/ink markets or foreign exchange rates; confirmed orders are billed as per accepted quotation.
6.2 Standard payment schedule: 50% advance and 50% on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.3 All applicable taxes, duties, and statutory levies are borne by the client and will be charged as per law.


7. Intellectual Property & Content Policy

7.1 We do not claim ownership of client content; however, we may retain production samples for portfolio/quality records unless you object in writing.
7.2 We reserve the right to decline orders containing illegal, defamatory, or prohibited content under Pakistani law.


8. Quality Claims & Reprints

8.1 Any quality issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos/samples.
8.2 If a verified manufacturing defect exists (beyond standard tolerances), we may offer a reprint or partial credit at our discretion.


9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including lost profits, reputational harm, or delays) arising out of the use of our services.


10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or non‑performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., power failures, supply shortages, strikes, extreme weather, or regulatory actions).


11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Karachi.
